Interactive Carte/Card – Sew Cute from Lawn Fawn

Bonjour à tous,

Voici une carte réalisée pour féliciter quelqu’un pour la fin de ces études et son diplôme. La personne étant passionnée de couture, j’ai utilisé ce thème, en voulant faire une carte animée : le but était de faire semblant que le tissu avançait dans la machine. Le tissu utilisé est une chute de tissu que cette personne aimait beaucoup. Je suis assez contente du résultat final : je n’ai jamais vu ce die utilisé pour ça, mais cela fonctionne tout de même (cf. diaporama ci dessous)

Dies :  Let’s toast Pull, de Lawn Fawn, qui permet d’avoir l’effet interactif

Titre : Poudre à embosser Nuvo, couleur « happy daze »

Good evening!

This is a card I made for someone finishing her studies and receiving her diploma. As the recipient love sewing, I chose this theme and I also wanted to do an interactive card. My goal was to do a card in which the fabric was moving in the sewing machine. For the fabric, I used a scrap tissue from a fabric the recipient liked. I am pretty proud of the result: I never saw this die set used for that, and at the end it worked! You can see the result on the slideshow.

Card « Get Well soon » – Lawn Fawn – « Better Days » + « Happy Hugs » Stamps

Voici une carte réalisée récemment pour réconforter quelqu’un traversant une période difficile. J’utilise usuellement peu de titre de grande taille sur mes cartes, mais dans ce cas de figure ci, j’aime beaucoup le résultat obtenu.

Voici le matériel utilisé pour cette carte (tampons et dies de chez Lawn Fawn):
Set de tampons : Better Days, Happy Hugs
Dies :  Giant get well soon pour le titre, grassy border pour découper l’herbe
Encres pour le ciel : Distress oxyde (couleurs : salty ocean, blueprint sketch, chipped saphhire) associé à un spray blanc Ranger.
Encres pour l’herbe : Distress (Couleurs: mowed lawn, pine needle) associé à un Spray Nuvo Sparkle Apple spritzer
Effet rose brillant : Mousse Nuvo « pink unicorn » appliquée au doigt mousse

Today I am showing you a card made recently for someone having difficult times. I usually don’t use big title on my card but in this case I really like the result.

For this card I used the following supplies:
Stamp sets: Better Days, Happy Hugs (all from Lawn Fawn)
Dies :  Giant get well soon for the title, grassy border for the grass (both from Lawn Fawn)
Ink for the sky: Distress oxyde (colors : salty ocean, blueprint sketch, chipped saphhire) associed with a white Ranger spray.
Ink for the grass: Distress (Colors: mowed lawn, pine needle) + Spray Nuvo Sparkle Apple spritzer
Shiny pink effect: Nuvo mousse « pink unicorn » applicated with a sponge Dauber

Halloween at Disneyland Paris (3)

Voici ma dernière page, réalisée sur le thème de la décoration Halloween de Disneyland Paris.

Pour cette page, j’ai utilisé le bloc de papier « Dia De Los Muertos » de la marque Recollections et du papier de chez Action (le orange pour le cadre et du papier uni pour les personnages). Les personnages ont été découpées à l’aide du die « Day of the Dead » de Tim Holtz. Cela prend du temps à découper, mais le résultat est top !

This is the last page I made, about Halloween at Disneyland Paris.

For this page, I used papers from the bloc « Dia De Los Muertos » from Recollections and also several papers from Action, a discount shop in Europa (plain colored cardboard for the characters and the orange one for the frame). The characters were cut thanks to a die from Tim Hotlz, called « Day of the dead ». That take time to cut, but the result is amazing!

Voici la dernière carte de vœux que je ferai pour cette année. Celle-ci est destinée à une personne aimant les ours (surtout en peluche!) et je voulais faire une carte avec le maximum d’ours possible. L’idée de la mise en page vient d’une carte faite par Garfiel So.

This is the last Happy New Year Card I will made for 2023. This one was made for someone who love bears (especially plushies ones!) and I wanted to make a card with a lot of bears. The layout was inspired by a card made by Garfiel So.

For this card I used the following supplies:
Stamp sets: Den Sweet Den, Christmas Dreams, Ugly and Bright, Say What? Holiday Critters, Winter Village, snowball fight (all from Lawn Fawn)
Dies : Stitched Dens, Stitched hillside borders (both from Lawn Fawn)
Ink for the sky: Distress oxyde (colors : salty ocean, blueprint sketch, chipped saphhire) associed with a spray made with water and Nuvo mousse (color : pure platinium) and a white Ranger spray.
Papers : The pink and black ones were bought at Action
Title : Embossing Powder pink from Nuvo

Voici d’autres cartes de Noël faites cette année, avec encore des produits Lawn Fawn (si vous en doutez encore, c’est bien ma marque préférée pour faire des cartes !).

Pour celles-ci, j’ai combiné de nombreux sets de tampons : « Beachy Christmas », « christmas dreams », « ugly and bright » et « Pawsitive Christmas ». L’idée de l’étagère vient de Megan avec sa carte publiée sur le blog officiel Lawn Fawn. Comme je ne possède pas le set purrfectly wicked qui a l’étagère, j’ai dessiné celle-ci à la main.

Le papier peint vient des papiers offerts par Lawn Fawn lorsqu’on commande sur leur site officiel ; les autres papiers viennent de chez Action. Le texte est fait avec de la poudre embosser Nuvo.

Today, I am showing you other Christmas Cards I made this year. As Lawn Fawn is my favorite brand to make cards, I again used their stamps to make these cards.

For these two cards, I used several stamp sets: « Beachy Christmas », « christmas dreams », « ugly and bright » and « Pawsitive Christmas ». The idea for the shelf came from Megan, with her card published on the official Lawn Fawn blog. As I don’t own the set « purrfectly wicked » with the shelf, I draw it.

The wallpapers came from the free papers you received when you order on Lawn Fawn website. The other papers came from action (discount shop in Europa). I used embossing powder to make the text.

Voici la deuxième carte à destination de l’Australie que j’ai faite pour Noël.

Pour cette carte, j’ai utilisée deux sets de tampon Lawn Fawn : Beachy Christmas et Toboggan together.

L’effet 3D a été fait avec le die de la même marque et son add-on, nommés respectivement platform pop-up et platform pop-up add-on. Pour l’étiquette, j’ai utilisé de la poudre à embosser Nuvo, qui permet d’avoir un relief. Les papiers utilisés viennent de chez Action.

Christmas Card « Christmas Fishes + Beachy Christmas » – Lawn Fawn

Voici une autre de mes cartes de Noël faite cette année, destinée à quelqu’un vivant en Australie. J’ai trouvé les nouveaux tampons « beachy christmas » de chez Lawn Fawn parfaitement adaptés à cette occasion ! Je les ai associé au set de tampon « Christmas Fishes » de la même marque.

Comme à mon habitude, les tampons ont été découpés à la Scan N cut et coloriés avec des Promarkers . L’étiquette avec le texte a été faite avec de la poudre à embosser (Sweet Sorbet de Nuvo).

Au niveau des encres utilisées pour le fond :
– Pour le sable: Distress classique – couleurs : antique linen, brushed corduroy.
– Pour l’eau : Distress oxyde – couleurs : tumbled glass, peacock feathers, salty ocean, blueprint sketch
– Pour le ciel : Distress oxyde – couleurs : salty ocean, blueprint sketch, chipped saphhire. J’ai aussi utilisé un spray fait à partir d’eau et de mousse Nuvo (couleur : pure platinium) et un spray blanc Ranger. C’est un nouveau combo de couleur/sprays pour moi, et j’aime beaucoup le résultat!

Good Morning!

This is another Christmas card I made this year, with products from Lawn Fawn. The card is for someone who is living in Australia, that explains why I chose to use the new stamps set « beachy christmas ». I associated it with an older stamp set « Christmas Fishes ». I think these stamp sets are perfect for people who celebrate Christmas in summer!

As usual, the stamps were cut with my Scan N Cut and colored with Promarkers. The label with the text was made with embossing powder (color: Sweet Sorbet from Nuvo).

I used Distress inks for the background :
– For the sand: Distress « classic » – colors : antique linen, brushed corduroy.
– For the water: Distress oxyde – colors : tumbled glass, peacock feathers, salty ocean, blueprint sketch
– For the sky: Distress oxyde – colors: salty ocean, blueprint sketch, chipped saphhire. I also used a spray made with Nuvo mousse (color :pure platinium) and water and a white spray from Ranger. This a new combo of colors for me and I really like the results!

Chritmas Card – Lawn Fawn – Snowball fight with puffins

Voici ma première carte de Noël de l’année, faite avec des produits de chez Lawn Fawn. La carte est destinée à une personne qui aime l’Islande, d’ou les macareux!

Pour cette carte, j’ai utilisé plusieurs sets de tampons : « Stud Puffin », « Snow One like you », « Snowball fight » et « Ugly and bright ».
Les collines et les montagnes ont été faites avec des dies de la même marque, respectivement les sets « stitched hillside borders » et « stitched mountain borders ».
Le ciel a été fait avec les encres Distress oxydes suivantes : Picked raspberry, chipped saphhire, wilted violet, twisted citron. J’ai aussi utilisé un spray fait à partir d’eau et de mousse Nuvo (couleur : pure platinium). Le texte a été fait en utilisant de la poudre à embosser.

Je suis plutot contente du résultat…. Il ne me reste plus qu’à faire toutes les autres cartes !

This is my first Christmas card of the year, with products from Lawn Fawn. The card is for someone who love Iceland, that explains why I chose to use the puffins stamps!

For this card, I used several stamp sets: « Stud Puffin », « Snow One like you », « Snowball fight » and « Ugly and bright ».
Dies from the same brand were used to do the mountains, and hills: « stitched hillside borders » « stitched mountain borders ».

I made the sky with the following Distress oxydes inks: Picked raspberry, chipped saphhire, wilted violet, twisted citron. I also used a spray made with Nuvo mousse (color :pure platinium) and water.
For the text I used embossing powder.

I very love the result! Now I still have to do all the other cards…

Voici la dernière page que j’ai faite, avec une photo de la porte d’Adventureland à Disneyland Paris.

Pour cette page j’ai utilisé :
– Du papier de chez action
– Des fleurs de chez Kaisercraft
– Des dies ovales
– Le titre et Jasmine ont été découpés avec la Scan N Cut. Le fichier SVG de Jasmine a été acheté sur Etsy (lien). Malheuresement, certains détails étaient trop petits pour être découpés par la machine et j’ai donc fait certaines parties à la main, ce qui explique les imperfections….

For this page I used:
– Papers from Action (a discount shop in Europa)
– Flowers from the brand Kaisercraft
– Ovals dies
– The title and Jasmin were cut thanks to the Scan N Cut. The Svg file of Jasmine was bought on Etsy (link). Unfortunately, some parts were too small to be cut by the machine, and I did some parts manually, which can explain why Jasmine is not perfect….

Voici une nouvelle page sur le thème de la décoration Halloween de Disneyland Paris.

Comme pour la page précédente, j’ai utilisé le bloc de papier « Dia De Los Muertos » de la marque Recollections. J’ai aussi utilisé du papier orange, noir et rose. Les fleurs sont de la marque Artemio et Hobby Fun. Les fleurs de chez Hobby Fun ne sont pas faciles à trouver, mais elles sont d’excellentes qualités (et pas très cheres !)

The flowers from Hobby Fun are not easy to find online or in shops, but they are very nice, with a good quality and not expensive!
