This card is my entry for the challenge from Lawn Fawnatics « Inspired by ». For this challenge, we must create a card, inspired by a member of the design team. I chose a card made by Grace, visible here and above. The recipient of this card is my mother; the card was made for her birthday.


For this card I used the following supplies:

Comme vous le voyez, j’ai choisi country (c’est à dire faire une carte sur le thème de la campagne plutôt que de la ville). Voici la page que j’ai finie cette semaine. Les photos ont été prises la première fois que nous sommes allés dans la maison pour prendre des photos avec Mickey et c’est pourquoi je tenais à les mettre dans mon album même si elles ne sont pas parfaitement réussies. Pour réaliser la page, j’ai utilisé uniquement des restes de différents kits Simple Stories ; cela montre que cela sert de garder les chutes de papiers!

Good morning!

This is the page I finished this week. Pictures were taken the first time we visited « Meet Mickey Mouse » Attraction; that is why I decided to put them in my scrapbook album even if they are not perfect. I only used leftovers of several Simple Stories kits to do the page; that show collecting leftovers in boxes is useful!

Voici ma carte pour le nouveau challenge de Lawn Fawnatics « Inspired by a book, movie or song ». Pour cette carte, destinée à mon compagnon fan d’Asterix, je me suis inspirée de la célèbre caricature d’A. Uderzo et R. Goscinny (cf. image ci-dessous).

Liste du matériel utilisé :
Set de tampons : « Ugly and Bright », « Snow much fun » de Lawn Fawn ; j’ai dessiné pour les modifier et les adapter aux personnages d’Obélix et Astérix
Cercle et Menhir:  découpés à la Scan N Cut. Le cercle est dans les fichiers inclus dans le logiciel. Le menhir est un fichier libre disponible ici. Après l’avoir découpé à la taille adaptée, je l’ai modifié en découpant pour qu’il rentre dans les bras d’Obélix
Lettres : Tracées à la Scan N Cut, police d’écriture : Caligula Dodgy

This card is my entry for the last challenge of Lawn Fawnatics « Inspired by a book, movie or song ». For this card, I was inspired by the famous cartoon of A. Uderzo and R. Goscinny (cf. image above). The card is for my boyfriend, fan of Asterix and Obelix.

List of supplies used for the card:
Stamp sets: « Ugly and Bright », « Snow much fun » from Lawn Fawn; I drawn to modify the stamps to adapt them to Obelix and Asterix
Circle and Menhir: cut with the Scan N Cut. Circle is a file included in Canvas Workspace. For the menhir, it’s a free file, available here. After cuting it at the appropriate size with the Scan N cut, I used sciccors to adapt it better to Obelix’s arms.
Letters: Drawn with Scan N Cut, font: Caligula Dodgy
Papers: Action shop

Je me suis lancée la semaine dernière dans les challenges Lawnatics, et j’ai décidé de poursuivre cette semaine. Cela me permet de me motiver à faire des cartes, tout en utilisant les tampons de la nouvelle collection. J’espère que votre coin scrapbooking ou couture est plus organisé que celui de ces souris ! (Nous n’évoquerons pas le rangement du mien ici….)

Dies :  Let’s toast Pull, de Lawn Fawn, qui permet d’avoir l’effet interactif avec le tissu ; je n’ai jamais vu utilisé ce die avec ces tampons, mais cela est plutôt facile à faire (c’est la deuxième fois que j’utilise cette combinaison).

This is my entry for the challenge #144 from Lawn Fawnatics « All Things Birthday ». I began last week to participate to the challenge and I loved it. Consequently, I decide to continue this week: that motivates me to do card, and that is a perfect excuse to use my new stamps from the last release. I hope you are more organized than these mice!

Voici une carte réalisée pour le challenge #143 de Lawn Fawnatics « Show us where you live ». Je ne souhaitais pas participer au challenge initialement, l’idée était une blague avec mon compagnon lorsque que je lui ai parlé du challenge actuel. Néanmoins, j’ai reçu des encouragements notamment de ma famille et sur le groupe Facebook Lawn Fawn Addicts, et j’ai décidé de me lancer dans l’aventure, et ce d’autant plus que la France n’était pas encore représentée….

Voici le matériel utilisé pour faire la carte :
Set de tampons : « Pengouin », « Ugly and Bright », « Snowball fight » de Lawn Fawn ; j’ai dessiné une des pancartes (celle tenue par les souris) et une baguette à la main

This is the card I made for the challenge #143 from Lawn Fawnatics « Show us where you live ». I didn’t want to participate initially; the idea was a joke during a talk with my boyfriend. However, I received some encouragement, especially from my family and on the Facebook group Lawn Fawn addict and France was not represented so I decided to make the joke a reality.

List of supplies used:
Stamps sets: « Pengouin », « Ugly and Bright », « Snowball fight » de Lawn Fawn; I drawn the sign hold by the two mouses and the Baguette
Inks fro the backgroud:  Distress oxydes – colors : chipped saphhire, wilted violet, black Soot ; I also used a white spray from Ranger (Dylusions Shimmer Spray White Linen).

It took me several weeks to finish this scrapbook page, because of lack of motivation and inspiration. Indeed, cuting the svg files took me hours and it was difficult to find an appropriate way to do the title…. Nonetheless, I am happy (finally) happy of the results!

En attendant d’avoir les nouveaux tampons de Lawn Fawn sur le thème de la couture, voici une carte avec les tampons que je possède déjà. Cette carte a été réalisée pour l’anniversaire d’une personne qui aime coudre.

Pour cette carte, j’ai utilisé la liste de matériels suivant :

Dies :  « Platform pop-up » et « platform pop-up add-on », qui permet d’avoir l’effet interactif et 3D (marque: Lawn Fawn)

J’ai renforcé l’effet 3D en utilisant de la mousse 3D pour coller le matériel de couture.
